Some fuzz about Archpriest Vsevolod Tsjaplin's call for a new dress code for Russian women

If the Russian Orthodox Church could have it's way, Russian women would no longer use make-up and wrap themselves in subtle long skirts and high-necked sweaters on hot summer days, instead of the usual hot pants and wide hanging blouses, which reveal a lot of female flesh "on sale". That is the opinion of archpriest Vsevolod Tsjaplin, a high priest who wrote an open letter proposing a new nationwide, national dress code.

Women in the Russian armed forces | The secret weapon?

Somewhere in 2005 a beauty contest was held between Russian's armed forces women to determine the most beautiful one, which happened to be Lieutenant Ksenya Agarkova. Everybody agreed that we were looking at some sort of public awareness campaign to try to reattract men to join the armed forces. Now I am wondering, looking at the way news networks are writing about and showing off the Russian female soldiers, when we get to buy Russian Army Women calendar's.
